Donna J. Huston, 80 of Wolcottville and formerly of Huntington passed away at 9:59 pm Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Parkview Randallia Hospital. Donna was a graduate of Huntington High School. She had worked for over 15 years at Target. She was a member of Woodruff Grove United Methodist Church in Wolcottville and was a member of the Red Hat Association. Donna enjoyed reading, crocheting and playing dice with her friends. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Donna was born on June 22, 1936 in Huntington, the daughter of Leslie and Bernice (Vardaman) McBride.
She was united in marriage to Gordon G. Huston on October 24, 1954 in Huntington. He preceded her in death on March 13, 2007.
Survivors include two sons: Alan G. Huston of Wolcottville; Rodney W. (Tammy) Huston of Columbia City; a daughter: Lynette M. (Randy) Neal of Huntington; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Leslie and Bernice McBride; a daughter: Rhonda K. Huston and two sisters: Nancy Reed and Gloria Schmidt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Mathews officiating at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel.
Interment will be at the Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made out to Woodruff Grove United Methodist Church in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
