Anthony “Tony” Hogue 60 of Harlan and formerly of Huntington passed away on the morning of Sunday April 16, 2023 in Chicago Illinois. Tony worked as a transportation specialist for 36 years. He was currently employed by RUAN Trucking. Tony was a 1981 graduate of Northside High School. Tony was a lover of music and the outdoors. He loved to spend time by the campfire and was known for his patriotism. Tony loved learning about space and was an avid rocket enthusiast.
Tony was born on August 30, 1962 the son of Jerry and Diana (Stouder) Hogue.
He was united in marriage to Heidi Hansen on October 15, 1994 in Huntington.
Survivors include his wife Heidi Hogue of Harlan; a son: Ryan (Cheyenne) Hogue of Matthews; a daughter: Clarice Hogue of Harlan; two grandchildren: Hadley and Rylie Hogue both of Matthews; his mother: Diana (Joseph) Cipolone of Fort Wayne; a brother: Dale (Tammy McDaniel) Hogue of Huntington; four sisters: Jerri Sue (Martin) Foust of Huntington, Sheila Johnson of Denver Pennsylvania, Cindy (Chad) Snader of Denver Pennsylvania, and Maria (Jason) Ziemer of Hinsdale IL.
He was preceded in death by a son: Levi Storm Hogue and his father Jerry Hogue.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday April 28, 2023 at Cedar Creek Chruch, locatedat 12606 Leo Road Fort Wayne IN 46845
A memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. immediately following the visitation at the church.
