He was a long time resident of Philadelphia, PA. Robert was born on August 15th, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA to parents, Robert Jesse Patterson and Bernice Costello. He graduated from Frankford High school in 1963. He continued his education at the community College of Philadelphia. Robert went on to establish a career as a transportation employee, working for SEPTA for over 32 years.
Robert loved to bowl and was in a league for many years. He was a true nature lover and animal lover of all kinds. He really loved old cartoons, especially Scooby-Doo. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading. He also loved a good meal with a glass of wine.
Robert Francis Patterson is survived by His loving wife of 50 years, Bertha (Faust). He is also survived by His three children, Robert ll, Christopher, and Melissa; His three grandchildren, Monica, Matthew, and Madelyn; His two great grandchildren Daniel and Gabriel; His brother Frank; and sister-in-law Sue McDevitt (Joe), and by His beloved baby pup Tigger.
A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lamb Funeral Home Inc., 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania 19006, followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. Interment will be held privately.
