Robert Edmond Jones Sr.

Robert E. Jones, Sr. died on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at his residence in Ivyland where he lived for the past 13 years. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Walter Edmond and Amy McKane Jones. Robert had previously lived in Palm Desert, CA, Cape May, NJ and Warminster, PA.

Mr. Jones was a retired General Foreman for Pennwalt in Warminster. He was an Army veteran who served during the Korean War.

Robert was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Warminster. He was an excellent artist and woodcarver. A number of his woodcarvings are displayed in the church.

Robert was the beloved husband of Janice E. Jones for 60 years. He was the devoted father of Robert E. Jones, Jr. of Los Gatos, CA and Richard D. Jones of Hillsborough, NJ. He was the loving grandfather of Rachel, Jordan, and Carli Jones. He is also survived by his sister Edna McWilliams of Folsom, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Wednesday March 11th from 9 to 11 AM at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, 999 York Road, Warminster. His funeral service will be at 11 AM. His burial will be private, in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
