Martha Roylene Carroll

Martha “Big Marty” Carroll was preceded in death by her loving husband, George L. Carroll Sr. and her devoted parents Roy A. Morgan and Martha A. Morgan (nee Kidd). She is survived by her brother Dayne P. Morgan and sister-in-law Phyllis Morgan.

She raised her 4 loving children after her husband’s passing and devoted her life to her family – Kimberly Carroll, George Carroll (Liza), Roylene Ward (Joe) & Shaun Carroll (Heather). Her 11 Grandchildren – Kristen, Daniel, Jenna, Bella, Elliott, Zaria, Sophia, Shaun, Lucas, Liam and Tyler and her 2 Greatgrandchildren, Ryan and Kyleigh, will miss her greatly. Martha has many nieces and nephews and cousins that she loved very much.

For over 30+ years, Martha was employed by Balford Farms where she was responsible for many functions in the office from Accounts Payable/Receivable and Logistics. She enjoyed her time employed and often remarked “that if you do what you love you will never work a day in your life.” She loved spending time in Florida where her parents resided in the winter months with her husband and children and spent many summers down the Jersey Shore.

Martha loved to play Bingo and any game of chance while on the Boardwalk or at County Fairs. She passed along her love of games to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed taking trips with her family and spending all her time with them. Reading novels was one of her favorite activities and she could never put a good book down until it was finished.
