Mamie (Megan) F. White died on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at her residence. She was 49 years of age. Born in Trenton, New Jersey, she was the beloved daughter of Ronald T Kaplan of Levittown and the late Mamie F. Schaffer Kaplan. Mamie had been a lifelong resident of Levittown – Bristol area.
Mrs. White was a Registered Nurse and was an employee at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania for 27 years. She was a graduate of Susquehanna University and received a Master’s degree from Widener University. Mamie was the President of the National Nurses Society.
Mamie was the devoted mother of Tahirah (Ty) S. Williams of Levittown. She is also survived by 5 brothers, 5 sisters and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to her service at 11 AM on Tuesday, November 25th at the Asplundh Field House of the Academy of the New Church, 2775 Buck Rd, Bryn Athyn, PA 19009. Friends may call from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
