We're thankful Kahdijah was able to share in our wedding day and a slice of oversized pizza from Lorenzo's.

I got to know Kahdijah a little bit through a mutual friend (Allison) when we were all in college. Everytime I’d visit Allison we’d always end up hanging with Kahdijah and she was always full of joy and was someone who could make me smile and laugh. My deepest condolences to all her family and friends 💕

Kahdijah has always been a person who lit up any room she walked into. She radiated joy, love, kindness, happiness, and so much more in all experiences. She loves her family and friends with her entire heart. She knew how to make everyone in her life feel loved and special. Kahdijah's light will stay with us for forever. I am sending all of my life to the Gaines and Venable families.

This was on June 2013 I met this amazing family in 2008 after that it was over our kids became one she is and will forever be my girl it’s so unreal right now but she was such an amazing person loving,caring,giving we will all miss her

I want to honor my cousin and highlight all the memories we have had together. She's my day one we are the same age and our parents even lived in  apartment but now she’s into a better place.  She had earned so many spots in heaven and then some R.I.P I  love you Khadijah

I had the pleasure of meeting Kahdijah at a work event a couple weeks ago.  From the moment she introduced herself with that big smile, I felt like I knew her forever.  She had such a kind and infectious spirit.  I got to sit next to her during dinner and listened as she talked about her dog, her husband and her life adventures.  She was truly a special person.  I am so sorry for this tremendous loss to your loved ones and everyone that knew you.  I am so honored to have met you.  I am wrapping your entire family and friends in prayer during this time.

🕊Honoring Kahdijah Gaines – A Lasting Impact

With a heavy heart, we honor the life and legacy of Kahdijah Gaines , whose impact touched so many here on earth. Kahdijah had an undeniable passion for art and design, excelling in her craft with grace and creativity. One of my fondest memories is how she designed my first business logo for Twinkle Toes Spa Party. She was immensely talented, and I feel blessed to have had her in my life, even for the short time she was with us.

🕊Kahdijah now serves a different purpose, as a beautiful angel in heaven watching over us. She will be missed deeply by so many. Not only was she a steadfast supporter of all my ventures, but she embraced my family as her own. She cared for my daughters like they were her little nieces, always showing love and kindness.

Kahdijah was more than just a friend; she was smart, educated, career-driven, and family-oriented. Her presence in our lives was a gift, and she will be terribly missed. Rest in peace, my love, and thank you for the lasting mark you've left on all of us.

Our heartfelt prayers go out to her family during this difficult time. May they find peace and comfort, knowing that Kahdijah's spirit lives on in the hearts of everyone she touched.🕊

My First Cousin, My First Bestfriend 🖤

Words are hard to come out of my mouth right now,  I know you are with Our Father in Heaven 👑you are where we are trying to go. My heart hurts right now, but I know you knew how much I loved you❤️ You will always be my daughter and I will always be your mom And you’ll always be with me. I love ❤️ you continue to look down on me and your dad and your brothers and sister🥰 We love you so much Kahdijah.

Kahdijah Iesha Gaines was like an older sister to me. I first got to know Kahdijah when she worked as a counselor at my mother's summer camp program at Faith International Church. All of the kids gravitated toward her, as her loving and caring energy radiated throughout the camp. 

There was never a day when I didn't see her smiling 24/7. She always encouraged the kids at camp to be positive as well as optimistic no matter what. 

Her soul will be missed greatly.
