Pastor John William Taylor

He was an Assistant Pastor of the Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia prior to his retirement.

He was pre-deceased by his wife Sophia Taylor. Surviving are his five children, Deborah Taylor of Houston, TX, Dan and his wife Cici Taylor of Hamilton, NJ, David and his wife Barbara Taylor of Upper Black Eddy, PA, John Andrew “Andy” Taylor of Warrington, PA, and Rebecca Taylor of Melbourne, FL , his 5 grandchildren, Samantha, Keefer, Kyle, Luey and John, and his companion Connie Stonehouse.

Friends and family are invited to Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia, 13500 Philmont Ave, Philadelphia, Pa, 19116, on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 from 6-9pm for a visitation with his family. Services will be held at Calvary Chapel on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 10:30am. Friends and family are invited to arrive at 10:00am for the 10:30am service. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville-Trevose, PA 19053. In Lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations in Pastor Taylor’s memory be made to the Calvary Chapel Mission Fund, c/o Calvary Chapel. Services are under the direction of Lamb Funeral Home Inc., Huntingdon Valley, PA.
