Gertrude "Trudy" Witzkoske

GETRUDE “TRUDY” WIZKOSKE, age 85, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 2, 2023. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt who loved traveling, entertaining, and being with her family.

She was an active lifetime member of Assumption Catholic Church; long-time President of Harvest Years; member of the Altar Society; Catholic Daughters; St. Vincent de Paul Society; and the GO Club. She is pre-deceased by her husband Clarence W. Witzkoske; brother Pete B. Dutka and wife Evelyn. She is survived by sons, Mark D. Witzkoske, and Paul J. Witzkoske; granddaughter, Jennifer Graham and husband Cody; grandson, Cody Witzkoske; great grandchildren, Lillyann Graham, Grayson Graham, and Waylon Graham; sister-in law, Patricia Elliott and husband Kenneth; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place 6:00 – 9:00 pm, Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Calvary Hill Funeral Home. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm during the Visitation. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 am Friday, August 11, 2023 at Assumption Catholic Church, 901 Roselane Street, Houston, Texas 77037. A luncheon will follow. The Rite of Committal will be 12 noon, Saturday, August 12 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.

Donations may be made in her name to St. Vincent de Paul Society at Assumption Catholic Church.
