Barbara Ellen Kinard, age 79, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at her home in Spring, Texas. She was born in Raymondville, Texas to William and Roxie (Rose) Mauney and was one of six children.
Preceding in her death were her parents and her siblings.
On January 22, 1983, Barbara married the love of her life Johnny Mack Kinard and was a devoted wife. Johnny passed away on July 8, 2013.
Barbara is survived by her three children, Melissa Rowe and her husband David, Beverly Stevens and her husband Larry, Edward Brandt and two stepchildren, John Kinard and his wife Stephanie and Christina Dempsey and her husband Jason. Grandchildren Jennifer Baker, Kristen Loveday and her husband Brian, Joshua Rowe and his wife Sarah, Raymond Hoholik and his wife Daizia, Taylor Brandt and his wife Maggie, Ryan Brandt and his fiancé Kimberly, Jacob Kinard and his wife Ashley, Tyler Kinard and his wife Dana, Reagan Collins and her husband Devin, Hailee Clark and her husband Hunter, Lilli, Daylon, Hunter and Roddy. Great grandchildren are Carter, Kinleigh, Corbin, Klayton, Kaleigh, Bryce, Blake, Liam, Wyatt, Cash, Peyton, Jace, Shaelyn, Jaydon, Roxie, Nevaeh, Jazmyn, Jasiah, Waylon, Allie, Macee, Camden, Mila, Blake, Carter, Michael and Megan.
Everyone that knew Barbara knows that she loved to shop and could never have enough clothes even though there were clothes in her closet that still had tags on them. She enjoyed getting her nails done, baking, working out in her yard and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan! Nothing meant more to her than her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who lovingly called her Memaw.
A visitation for Barbara will be held Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Calvary Hill Funeral Home, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Faith United Methodist Church, 2403 Rayford Rd, Spring, TX 77386. A committal service will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Calvary Hill Cemetery, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338. A reception will occur Wednesday, October 19, 2022, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, 21723 Aldine-Westfield Road, Humble, TX 77338.
