Uday Narayan, age 88 passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Uday was born in the Fiji Islands to parents Girdhari Lal and Keola Pati on October 7, 1936. He was a loyal supporter of the Hindu religion, and was a pillar of the Fiji-Indian community. His hobbies included traveling, going to casinos, and enjoying a fine wine. He was also an avid fan of the San Francisco 49ers. He loved spending his time with his family, and made many fond memories with his loved ones.
Uday is survived by the love of his life Gyan Narayan; daughter Sandhya Narayan Uma; son-in-law Chet C. Uma; and grandsons Chetan Anand Uma and Sachin Anand Uma. He is preceded in passing by his parents Girdhari Lal and Keola Pati.
A Prayer and Visitation service for Uday will be held on Monday, December 9th at 10:00AM in the Heritage Chapel, located at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Avenue in Hughson, CA. Following the services will be a Witness Cremation Ceremony, beginning at 1:00PM.
