Karen Lynn Hubbard

Karen has passed onto the vast garden of Heaven. Karen was the 7th of 12 children born to Wayne and Dorthea Crabb. Born in Pratt, KS. Attended the Kansas State School for the Deaf in Olathe, KS. Karen lived in Wichita for several years, then moved to Modesto, CA in 1964. She worked for The Stanislaus County District Attorney’s office, where she retired.

Karen was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Karen liked to draw, paint, decorate, she was a fabulous seamstress, an avid gardener with a love of roses, caring for her many rosebushes, and she loved to cook and was always trying new recipes . She always had a bright smile for everyone.

Karen is survived by: Daughters, Debi Ruby-Fouts, Cindy Ruby-Milam (Troy). Granddaughters: Sara, Roxan, Ali and Alexis. Great grandsons: Aydan, Dylan and James. Siblings: Johnny Crabb (Mel) and Judi Teeney.

Preceded in death by her spouse Robert married for 32 years. also preceded in death by 9 siblings: Vera, Dale, Danny, Donna, Gene, Jerry, Nancy, Laura, and LeeAnn, and their parents.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday Sept, 20, 2017, in the Heritage at the Lakewood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital by calling (800) 822-6344 in memory of Karen Hubbard .
