Donald enjoyed many things like sports specifically football. Donald also enjoyed traveling with his wife Josefina, they would enjoy going to the bay area, and one trip that Josefina will also remember is the trip they took to Alaska. They enjoyed visiting family and spending time with them as well. On Donald spear time he would like to bike ride while his wife would run. One of many thing's he loved to do was ride his Motorcycle (Harley Davidson) Josefina shared that just a week prior to his passing he took his Harley out for a ride. There was two special boys that were very important to Donald, those were his Godchildren Santiago and Diego, Donald would love to take them out to the movies, and would love to spoil them he treated them like they were his own children.
Donald is survived by his spouse, Josefina Martínez Garner; daughter Norma; daughter Veronica Joy; and daughter Thamatha; brother Steve Foster, brother Stephen Anthony Foster and sister Nancy Lee Garner; godson Santiago and godson Diego.
Donald is proceeded in death by his parents Robert Raymond Garner and Helen Margaret Rathbun.
A visitation for Donald will be held Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson, California.
A funeral mass will occur Friday, June 11, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 7820 Fox Rd, Hughson, California.
Serving as pallbearers are Francisco Ramirez, Rigoberto Ramirez , Claudia Nayares, Victor Ruiz , Francisco Rios , Diego Ruiz , Santiago Ruiz and Steve Foster.
