Yvonne Damari Jefferson-Davis

Yvonne Damari Jefferson-Davis, 51, passed away peacefully on August 25, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Yvonne grew up in Dallas, Texas and later moved to Houston, where she attended South Union Church and would eventually fall in love and marry the man of her life, Joseph Davis.

Yvonne was predeceased by her father and mother, Charles and Vera Jefferson.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph, 2 daughters Gabrielle and Jonecia (Danny & Noah), son Brandon (Josiah), sister Mocoa (Norman, Keisha & Journee) and brother Carl, sister/cousins, Cora Jones, Shelia, Monica, and Laveta, 2 Uncles, Portis and Floyd Nowlin, godsons Rene and Jarrel, and a host of many special and close relatives and friends.

Yvonne lived a full and vibrant life with friends that she treated more like family and her family meant more to her than words can describe.

A visitation for Yvonne will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at South Union M.B.C., 3550 Lydia Street, Houston, TX 77021. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3550 Lydia Street, Houston, TX 77021. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at Paradise Cemetery South, 16001 Cullen, Houston, TX 77030.
