I had the privilege of knowing him, thank you Doc!

Our first visit as a married couple with Sherman and Betty was October 1980  Jamie was a baby and called the hogs at the AR football game.  Their hospitality was warm, gracious, and genuine.  Every visit we had during the years was memorable and pleasant.  We really enjoyed our visit to the lake house.  We learned how to order food with Sherman at the Mexican restaurant.  Each time we eat out we follow his advice--order a course at a time and do NOT let the waiter rush you.  Sherman was a well rounded conversationalist who lived a life all of us would do well to use as a role model.  He will be missed!!

Dear Karen & Cheryl and the rest of the clan.  It was such a priviledge and joy to have known your Dad and they must have had the need for another heavenly angel.  I know many, many people were blessed by knowing your Dad, whether it was through friendship, family or being his patient.  My niece, Josi also sends her love and prayers.  She feels a very special bond with your Dad and the rest of you as well. He is a great inspiration to her which will live on through her practice.

Karen & Cheryl-So sorry to hear of your dad's passing. HE was our Chiropractor for several years when we lived on Chantilly in Oak Forest. May both of you and all the family and friends find comfort in knowing he is in a better place, and he was highly thought of.May God give you comfort.

Karen & Cheryl - so sad to hear the news.  Your Dad was a good man & great Doctor.  My whole family appreciates all he's done for us over many years. Glad to have known him.  God speed.

Karen, so sorry to hear about your father's passing.  May God Bless you and the family as you heal from your loss.

Dr. Puckett adminstered wonderful care to my husband Billy and my daughter Leanne.  My heart is with the family but I know that Dr. Puckett is enjoying his heavenly reward for his loving, caring existence.

I met Dr. Puckett when I was 8 years old, in 1957. My mother brought me to him with a host of problems, not the least of which was epilepsy. He would often come to my elementary school to pull me out of a convulsion in class or on the playground. On a few occasions, I would spend a weekend with him and his family at their home to receive nearly hourly adjustments. He remained my only Chiropractor into my mid-forties, at which time my wife and two young sons became patients.

Thank you, Dr. Puckett, for receiving the life of a child whom the medical doctors had written off. Thank you for your "years of tears" as you brought me from one health breakthrough to another ... and made me healthy through your skills and the Grace of God.

To Cheryl and Karen -- I wish Life had never separated our families as it did. My love and prayers go to you both and your families at this time.

To Doc:
I am saddened by your death but I know you are in a better place.  What a wonderful 90 years you had on this earth. I hope you know how special you were to me and how much I valued our friendship.  You will always be in my heart and in my memories.  

P. S. Give Betty a big hug for me. I know you have missed her.

P.S.S We'll have a great big game of softfall when we all to get to heaven so be ready to coach again.

My deepest condolences to you, Cheryl, Karen and Terry and all your children.  Bill was a great doc and "fixed" my back up many times.  He also was a wonderful friend and I have fond memories of all the times we met with our gang for the dances at SPJST, our eating out and being in his home. I pray that God's presence will be felt in your lives during these difficult days.  Love to all
