William C. McMillan

William C. McMillan, age 83, of Houston, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday February 10, 2019. William was born March 29, 1935 in Lumberton, North Carolina to Clarence and Rose McMillan.

William worked over 50 years as a Maintenance Supervisor for various rental properties. William loved his family and his career. In the early years William loved to fish, but that hobby later evolved to camping and traveling. To all that ever met William or knew him personally, he will be truly missed.

William was preceded in death by: his first wife Inez McMillan, second wife Aretha Jones, son Amos J. Wilson, brothers: McDuffie McMillan and Hodges Whitted.

William is survived by: son William McMillan; daughter Monique McMillan Cross; son William Dodd McMillan; daughter Nicole McMillan Bennett; daughter Rose Marie McMillan; grandchildren: Kelon Bryant, Imani Bennett, Jermaine Walker, Cameron Bennett, Brandi Cross, Nia Bennett, Candyce Cross Smith, Dondre McMillan, Sharde McMillan; great-grandchildren: Braylon Mack, Keller Bryant, Amir Lerma, Major Smith, Jemaine Xavier Walker, Jr., Jeremiah Xavier Walker; brother Clarence Thomas Jones and wife Betty and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A visitation for William will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will follow Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10:30 am, the burial will be at Brookside Memorial Park.
