Weldene J. Mullings

She grew up and went to school in Texas City, TX and met her husband Robert Hunt. They married after high school and spent a few years different places while Robert completed his military assignments. After the military, they moved back to Houston, Texas and Denie worked as an Executive Secretary to support her family while Robert completed college and started his CPA practice. Denie was a major contributing factor to the success of their business. When her grandchildren were born she considered it her job and honor to take care of them each day and did so for 18 years. Her husband Robert died on November 4, 1997. She became very involved in volunteer work with the church and food banks. She loved to go to dinner with her friends and loved spending time and traveling with her family.

In 2005 she met and fell in love with Bob Mullings and they married on April 30, 2006. They traveled to some beautiful places, rode motorcycles and built a wonderful life together. They moved to Arkansas for 7 years and built a retirement haven, but had to move back to Texas to be close to family and medical care when Denie's health started to decline. Denie passed away on 09/26/2024 in Montgomery, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Arther and Mildred Sanders and her first husband Robert Hunt. She is survived by her husband - Robert (Bob) Mullings, Son - Lee Hunt and daughter in Law Darielle Hunt, Step children- Greg and wife Lisa, Kim, Michael, Danielle and husband Walker along with grandchildren - Chris and Brooke and Megan and Greg, Step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her sister Lea Cummings and her husband Nez Cummings, and their 4 children Ken, Cheryl, Karen and Cathy.

Her life of faith and values built a foundation for the generations to follow.
