Virginia Lee Rich, age 93, of College Station, TX , passed away on December 6, 2020. She was born in Maxwell, TX on February 8, 1927 to Martin and Hertha Kroesche. She was married to Marshall H. Rich, Jr. for 58 yrs. Virginia taught in Texas Public schools for many years, but always claimed her true passion was being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall H. Rich, Jr. ; parents, Martin and Hertha Kroesche; brother, Martin Albert Kroesche; sister, Florence McReynolds, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
She is survived by her son , Marshall H. Rich, III of Irving, TX; daughter, Lori Palmer and her husband, Jim of College Station, TX; daughter, Melinde Rich of College Station, TX; grandchildren: Kellee Palmer of College Station, TX; Kyle and Meredith Palmer of Flowood, MS; Kirk and Erin Palmer of Winnie, TX. Great grandchildren: Opal Smith, Easton Palmer, and Kaden Palmer; Sister-in-law, Golda Rich of Huntsville, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
