Even at this moment, I still struggle to digest the thought of a life without you. It’s easy to get caught up in my fear.

But I believe my newfound fears stem from the incredible history of how much we proved our love to each other. I scroll through the pictures and conversations on my phone and I see year after year of incredible conversation that we had together. Your treasured mementos were subtle evidence of the joy we brought each other. You kept every letter I wrote, and saved the petals of every rose I sent from the very beginning. I fondly remember fiddling with the ring I gifted you on our first year together; and as I wear it now, I’m awestruck that there was never a moment you were without it since I gave it to you.

I wish that I could find the vocabulary to even describe the intangible aspects of our relationship to make people understand. Saying you inspired me to move mountains doesn’t scratch the surface of the resolve you gave me. I adored the patience that you had for me, and I’m glad I never missed a chance to put you on a pedestal. I loved that you cherished me completely, and that feeling of a full and content heart you gave me still finds its way to me even now. And I wasn’t the only one! I wish you saw how your closest friends were moved to action when it came time to honor you. You would have been proud of what we pulled off.

But as I stumble through the days, and think about the loss that was occupied with your companionship, I realized that it is impossible to see what I lost without also accepting the volumes of incredible memories bursting with love. My fear of thinking that this is the end of us is unfounded; because even now I still continue to honor you in my actions and words.

This letter cannot capture how I feel, just as a eulogy can’t summarize everything you meant to me. Although this letter comes to an end, my thoughts of you never will. Thank you for etching the best of yourself into me so I can combat the fear in my heart.

What can I not say about Tiffany? 

My redheaded, freckle twin! I met Tiffany (Revy) online in 2019. We instantly bonded over Gundam Wing and Sailor Moon. She was so talented in writing, and her works of Fanfiction are genuinely inspiring. Revy (Tiffany) helped me with my own set of writing. Betaing stories I would right, and then in turn learn so much from her! She trusted me enough to eventually look at her writing before she published it, and come to trust my judgment when it would sound a bit off. We were a great team. My muse, my confidant. Since I live in Los Angeles, I'm two hours behind Tiffany, and some of my favorite memories are when we'd be talking almost all hours of the night, it would be 2 am for me and 4 for her, and we'd finally have to call it. She was such an easy person to talk to, and always had my back. She was my number one supporter in the fandom, and out of it. She made you feel so special, and when you needed advice, hers was truly the best. 

I know our friendship is to some unconventional, but our love that we had for each other, even being so far away from each other and only ever meeting twice in person, was real, and I will cherish that always. Tiffany was such a beautiful soul, touching many lives, even online. I will always be grateful for rewatching Gundam Wing when I did, because if I hadn't, my life wouldn't have been changed knowing this beautiful woman. 

I miss your voice, I miss sending random funny memes, and I miss your voice messages about a recent breakthrough you had on a story.  I will always carry a piece of you with me in my heart through fandom, stories, and watching the movies and tv shows we bonded over.

My Tiffany,

You will always be the burst of beautiful fireworks in my heart. You're the crescent moon of light that will always shine through the darkness. I’m so blessed that God blessed us to meet & become the closest of friends. I will still never understand why Robert took so long to introduce us. Our friendship may have started 6 years ago, but it feels like a lifetime. I still remember the day you told me that you thought I didn’t like you when we first met. I thought that was so funny, Tiff I was just amazed at your sense of humor & laughter. We had so many similarities & differences aka I still don’t understand the sailor moon stuff, lol probably the same way you didn't understand why I liked Star Wars so much.  That's what made us unique; we valued & respected one another from the inside & out. I don’t think the world could ever understand, how amazing & how much love you gave. Our connection was strong & I will miss our travel adventures. I will miss floating down the river, when we wanted to escape the world & be at peace singing our anthem song out loud ‘I’m on a boat, everybody look at us’. I miss hearing your voice, your smile, your laugh, your love, I miss you…you’re my forever sister & I love you always & forever.
