Teresa Ann Mire

Teresa graduated from Reagan High School in the Heights area of Houston in 1944. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Houston for 69 years before she moved to Cypress. While there she was active in the Altars Guild, the Thursday Club and the Stars Program which knitted caps for cancer patients. After she moved to Cypress she attended CyLife Church and was a member of two Small Groups. Teresa was known for crocheting afghans for friends and family. She would hand pick the yarn and customize the colors and pattern for each person. She put many hours of her time into this and simply enjoyed sharing them with others.

Teresa is survived by her daughters Kathy Mire, Peggy Sousa and husband Joseph Sousa, granddaughter Lauren Dedear and husband Justin Dedear, great grandchildren Norma Dedear and Parker Dedear. She was preceded in death by her husband Russell Mire.

Visitation will be from 6-8pm on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Funeral service will be at 10am on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at Pat H. Foley & Company. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
