I am so sorry for the families loss. May God bless him and the rest of the family.  
I have known the Allen's since my childhood. I remember Steve as a kind, soft spoken, always smiling older brother to Julie! He gave us rides to work, the Astrodome and to the Galleria when we wanted to go ice skating. He put up with our silliness and inside jokes and always made us feel good about helping us. 
I know Mrs Allen, Dr Allen,  Herb and Julie received him with pure love and joy. 


Steve was my little brother. He was like most little brothers pesky, teasing, and frequently a  big pain. He was also loving , kind , sensitive to others, and fun. As he grew he became less of the former and much more of the latter. I think this is why my Mom and Steve had such a close, special relationship. He was Mom's 4th child and she said he was an easy, affectionate baby. They are hugging now in heaven.

I have fond memories of Steve.He was always a gentleman in my presence.. He welcomed us to his home.. I never forgot that.. I especially will never forget how much he adored and loved Clara...RIP sir!

As a long time friend of Steve’s sister Cindy, it is with a heavy heart that I come to this site to express my condolences to her and the family.  I knew Steve to be a quiet, but very kind man who never had a bad word to say.  I remember that he called me Sharona, but mostly I recall how much he loved his sister and how much Cindy loved him.  I recall letters Cindy wrote me while on family vacations detailing hilarious escapades that brought them closer together.  May those memories bring comfort and joy throughout the days ahead. 

My deepest sympathy to Cindy and her family on Steve’s passing. It is so difficult to see our childhood family playmates passing to the other side. I pray for fond memories to sustain you and the comfort of friends’ love and support to ease your pain.

We would have never met if it weren't for AEIL. The day Steve interviewed me for a job was the day he hired me. The following day he changed the rules to: the women must only wear dresses or skirts.  Hahahaha! That's when I knew. Of course it took a while before he actually asked me out but he wasted no time.  He always tried to be sneaky about things but most of the time I knew what he was up to. I miss him dearly. I love him eternally.  Someone recently told me she was jealous of how  much he adored me.  She wishes she had that from someone. I adored him too.  
In this picture we're at AEIL in front of the company logo. It was after happy hour and he'd taken me back there, took me in the darkroom and made me give him a shot of penicillin on his rear to fight a cold. He was not afraid to do as he pleased. He always said "do it until someone tells you not to".  I loved every adventure he took me on.
RIP My Love

Steve was my sisters' partner. He made me feel like family. I was fortunate to be able to spend time with him. He was kind, made me laugh and was a good man. I will miss him dearly. Our conversations and the hugs will be missed. He would call me Ms. Patty.  I wish I could hear him say it one more time along with my hug.  May our Lord hold you in his glory Steven.
