Stephanie Doreen Portis

Stephanie was a devoted & faithful Christian that accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a early age.

Stephanie attended and graduated high school in Las Vegas NV and later pursued higher education at Las Vegas Community College. She went on to dedicate over 20 years of her career as a paralegal for Parallon, where she made significant contributions in her field.

Stephanie was known for her vibrant personality and outgoing nature. She had a contagious laughter that could brighten up any room. Her intelligence and independence made her a role model for many. Stephanie was a hard-working individual, always striving to achieve her goals. She was tenacious in everything she did and never shied away from a challenge. Stephanie's positive attitude and willingness to lend a helping hand held her in high regard to everyone she met.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her loving mother Debra Portis. She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Samuel Portis. Three children whom she loved deeply, Dominic Davis, Demario Portis, and Shaquera Portis, 2 beautiful grandchildren, Elijah Portis and Aria Portis. As well as her brothers, Marc Johnson (Adrianne), Michael Johnson, Snowden Portis(Terri) and a host of family and friends.

Stephanie was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her infectious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering support will forever be cherished. May she rest in peace.

In memory of Stephanie if your heart is moved to do so contributions can be made to the Kids Christmas Donation and the Breast Cancer Donation Center. Donations to either cause would be greatly appreciated.

A memorial service for Stephanie will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, located at 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
