Our mothers story began May 21-1959 in San Miguel, El Salvador, and in the year of 1981 she migrated to the United States with her infant child in arms ,the journey was approximately 3000 kilometers which she walked with her infant son in tow to give him a better life! Then in july of 82 she received into this world her only daughter. Then a few years passed and in February 1985, she welcomed a son the last of three children. She was a strong, intelligent, determined woman anything she set her mind to she would accomplish. She loved to sew wheter by hand or with a sewing machine, thou she gave that up to rear her children. She was a hard worker she would go to work and still come home and cook us a great meal. In 1992 she met who would be the Love of her life Jose A Orellana and through thick and thin, in good times or the bad times they ventured together through life. She was blessed with having 10 Grand Children starting in the winter of 1997 to the most recent grand child being born in the summer of 2019.
She adorded to play and be outside with her grand kids, kids, friends or anyone that would stop by. She loved working in her garden and to go for long walks in the afternoon, thou the walks got shorter after she broke her ankle but the will was still there to go for a walk. Mom loved to dance, sing and listen to music. She was a great dancer. Mom also enjoyed food, if you took her to the Chinese buffet she was especially happy cause she was going to enjoy a variety food and it also meant she wasn’t going to cook that day. Mom was a caring and compassionate person. She was always trying to lend a helping hand and would always give advice to help better your life. Moms life is summoned up from a scripture from the bible Ephesians 4:32 “ Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving to each other, just as Christ God forgave you.” She was always telling us to help out as many people as we could and that’s something that we do to this day.
In conclusion our mother alwayswanted for her children and grand children and anyone thatis part or our tribe to Love one another, always take care of one another, help our fellow man, and to have faith in the Lord. Like mom used to tell us when she would say goodbye “I love you too much” she meant to say was “I love you so much” but we knew what she meant, so in parting I say to you Mom this is not good bye, its till we meet again and are able to sit outside underneath a tree listening to music, enjoying a good plate of food and remember.
We Love you too much to!!!
