Wayne, we are praying for you, brother.  Shirley is with Jesus and all is well with her....no more pain; just the joy of being in the presence of her Savior. Shirley was a wonderful person during her time on earth....and your dear companion.  Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you!

Shirley was one of the most gracious, warm, compassionate women we have ever known. Her love for her Savior was her driving force, which moved her to share His Saving Grace with all she met, even during her illness. She daily feasted on His Precious Promises, allowing His Holy Spirit to conform her to the image of Christ. We count it a privilege to have known Shirley, and will miss her contagious smile, sparkling eyes and warm, gentle love.

Sugar was very special to our family. We are so blessed to have spent many holidays with her and Wayne. We will treasure our precious memories of our sweet Sugar. Thank you Lord for bringing her Papa into our lives.

May the GOD of all comfort, provide the Pittman's family with whatever is needed so you can cope with your great loss. Also there will be a time when all causes of death and the heartaches it brings will be abolished forever.

Our family loved Sugar very much. She was so special to us and we were blessed to have spent many holidays with her and Wayne. We will treasure wonderful memories of our sweet Sugar. Thank you God for bringing her and Wayne into our lives.

Wayne, Chester and I were so saddened to learn of Shirley's passing.  Everytime I saw her, I left thinking what a beautiful and warm person she was both inside and out. Shirley was my friend--my best friend as we grew up.  And I just am not ready to let her go.  Time and geography kept us apart as we lived our later lives.  But she was still my dear, dear friend and our daughter Stephanie's God-mother.  We'll miss knowing that she was just a phone call or email away. Many of our IHS classmates have responded to me.
They loved her, too.  You have our deepest sympathy.

Shirley and Wayne are friends we lost contact with since leaving Houston. She was a great lady, and knew the Lord. I pray for God's comfort for Wayne.
