Oh how I remember Sherry. She was like a sister to me as well. I recently found out about her passing but I feel certain that her and Granny and PaPa are up there in the biggest celebration ever.  It’ll be a wonderful time when we join them!

It has taken me a while to really think about what to say!! I am so sorry for the loss of such a great GREAT person!! Sherry was the LIGHT!! If that song, Be The Light, was meant for anyone it was Sherry Lynn Hunter!! I remember when we were kids, she was always happy, always smiling! I thought "Wow, how awesome!" I was in awe of her! Back when we were kids, families had get togethers with EVERYONE, all the time!!!! Easters were particularly fun and memorable as we had to dress up in our Sunday best and hunt eggs.. I remember one picture of us sitting on the driveway on Charriton eating our boiled eggs after the "hunt"... What a great memory!!  I remember Mom and Dad always taking us to visit Aunt Betty and Uncle Loyd and we would hang out for hours!! It was always a blast!!!  
Sherry was always a joy to be around and loved by everyone, as is obvious by the memories shared!! She will be dearly missed!! Fly high beautiful Angel!! Love  you girl!! 

     Our beloved Sherry was  beautiful on the inside and out. She was also kind,  caring,  sweet and gentle.  We all had so many memories growing up with Sherry,  especially at Christmas time with the entire Hunter family.  
     The most memorable moment in time for me, was the summer I spent traveling to Arkansas with Sherry and my grandparents. We all traveled in one of granny's Cadillac's to get there, (smoothest ride in town).  Papaw insisted we all listen to old bluegrass music along the way.  Truthfully, you could only pick up old bluegrass and Christian music on the  radio stations in the Ozarks back in the early 80's, but I don't think Sherry knew that.  Sherry and I both wanted to listen to other music, but granny and papaw were not having any of that!  I have to chuckle about all of that now.  My poor grandparents had so much patience that day.  
     During the trip there and back, we all had McDonald's hamburgers multiple times!  I can't help but think now how much Sherry  loved those burgers and fries.  I'm pretty sure she just wanted to work that company just for the perks.  If you ever had the chance to visit Sherry at work, I'm sure you would of noticed how proud she was and what a great job she did while there.
      Although that those moments in time are long gone, the memories will never be forgotten.  Sherry's love and passion in life will live on forever in all of our hearts.  Despite the sorrow we all  feel right now, there is comfort in knowing that Sherry is finally going  to have that elaborate birthday party that she always wanted on  special day, December 26th along side Jesus and the other family members that passed before her.

I admired Sherry's abilities she never met a stranger and wasn't afraid to talk to anyone, when the music moved her she got up and danced. I will miss my SherBear...she will forever be with me giving me the strength and courage to get up and dance. Cheryl
