He was born in Binh Ninh Dinh Tuong, Vietnam on July 28, 1943 to Duong Van and Thinh Thi Tran. Sang worked as a maintenance man for Klein ISD. He had a passion for gardening, traveling, reading, carpentry, listening to music, and coffee with his friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tran, Van Duong and Tran, Thi Thinh; his sister, Tran, Thi Kieu and siblings.
He is survived by his seven children, Tran, Nguyen Vu(son) and wife; Tran, Nguyen Thao(son) and wife; Tran, Nguyen Linh(son) and wife; Tran, Thi Tu Quyen(daughter); Tran, Kim Thu(daughter); Dominique, Thy Uyen(daughter) and husband; and Tran, Evan(daughter). A host of cousins, nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
