Sandra Gutierrez

Sandra “Nana” Gutierrez, age 45, departed this life peacefully on Wednesday, September 7, 2017 at Houston Methodist Hospital. She was born on October 4, 1971 to Pasqual “Tudday” and Esperanza “Mama” Guiterrez. She leaves to cherish her memory: mother Esperanza Gutierrez, ex-husband Joe Eugene Johnson and their three children: Joseph Anthony Gutierrez, Joe Eugene Johnson and Madison Grace Johnson. She is also survived by her twin brother Pasqual Gutierrez, sister Cynthia Smith, sister-in-law Ruby Gutierrez and brother-in-law Stanley Smith. As well as her grandchildren: Gabriella Nicole Gutierrez, Christian Gutierrez, nieces: Jessica Denise Gutierrez, Lauren Arellano, Victoria Gutierrez, Priscilla Gutierrez, nephews: Richard Gutierrez, Richard Gutirrez Jr., Stanley Smith, Joshua Smith, James Arellano, along with a host of other relatives and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. A very determined woman and within a blink of an eye could make you laugh.

One precious to our hearts has gone,

the voice we loved is still.

The place made vacant in our heart,

can never be more filled.

Our Father in his wisdom approached,

the one his love had given.

And so on earth the body lies,

her soul is left in Heaven.
