Rudy Barker

Mr. Barker was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and served from October 30, 1961 to March 22, 1966. He was the owner of Barker Pest Control for the last 30 years. On November 27, 1992, Rudolph married his wife Ruby in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Mr. Barker was preceded in death by his father Rudolph Barker, mother Edna “Dove” Barker, son Dallas Lee Barker, and brothers Richard Barker and Donald Barker.

Mr. Barker is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Ruby Barker, his sister Betty Ann Sandifer and her husband Harold, his sister-in-law Betty Barker, his daughter Tammy Hutchings and granddaughter Samantha Hutchings, step-son Russell Smith and wife Natalie, and granddaughter Emma Rice, grandsons Chris Barker and wife, and great grandson Braden Barker, grandson Michael Barker and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in The Hunters Creek Chapel at Earthman Funeral Directors, 8303 Katy Freeway, Houston, Texas 77024. The family will have a reception following the service in the Events room at Earthman Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be conducted on Monday, January 13, 2013, at 1:30 p.m.
