Ruben Carrasco Garcia, of 70, passed away July 3rd, 2020, surrounded by family. He was born to parents Domingo Garcia and Guadalupe Carrasco, on February 24th, 1950, in Abilene, Tx.
He graduated from Central Catholic High School, served in The Marines and fought in The Vietnam War. He fell in love with Maria in 1986 and eloped in 2019. Ruben is also survived by daughters Robin Garcia and Brenda Hernandez and sons Ruben Garcia Jr., Mark Garcia and David Garcia, as well as grandchildren.
The memorial service will be held Tuesday, July 14th, 2020 at 11 am at Garden oaks Funeral Home. The family encourages family and friends to share their memories from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM. The committal service will occur from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
