Mr. Rowland Robert Fields Sr.

He attended school in the Houston Independent School District (HISD). He confessed Christ at an early age. Rowland enlisted in the U. S. Army and married Deloris Worlds and had two daughters. He later married Mae Francis Williams and two daughters and a son was born to this union. He was later called into ministry. He retired from the post office. He was a member of Church of God and Christ and later united with Cornerstone Holiness Church until his passing.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Louie and Lydia Fields, two brothers Louie and Dan Fields, one daughter Sharon Wardell, one granddaughter Yuvond Fields, one grandson Allen Autry, and one step-son Michael Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters; Gwendolyn Fields, Cynthia Fields, Mona Fields, Francis Fields, one son Rowland Fields Jr. and a host of grandkids, great-grandkids, great great-grandkids, nieces, nephews, two brothers; Willie Chester Fields of Houston, TX., Eugene Fields (Claudette) of Barrett Station, TX., and one sister Henry Anna of Houston, TX.
