Rose Gutierrez Millar is survived by her son,Jason Chapa of Stafford,VA.Her daughter, Linda Rogers of Scottsboro,AL.Her older sister Gertrude Garcia,younger sisters;Blanche Reyes and Virginia Anderson.She was preceded in death by a brother Paul Gutierrez,Jr.Each of her siblings reside in the Houston area.Rose had 6 grandchildren;Christina Davis of Germany,Jessica Chapa of Richmond,VA.,Kelvin Chapa of Virginia,Sky G Rogers of Georgia,Anthony Chapa of Virginia, and David Rogers of Scottsboro,AL.She had 4 great grandchildren ;Amaya Davis,Ember Rogers,Brandon James Chapa, and Cameron Davis and numerous nieces,nephews and cousins.
Rose was a retired Federal Government employee with 30 years of service.She retired from the Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Agency Accounting Deaprtment.
She waa born and raised in Houston,Texas.She married and lived in Alaska,New Orleans,Alabama and most of her adult life in the Washington,D.C. metro area before returning to her hometown of Houston,Texas.
