Rose Elaine Dandy

In loving memory of Rose Elaine Dandy (formerly Bartley), born on Oct 16, 1938 to the late Arnold Bartley and Ivey May Grant (Ryman) and peacefully passed away on December 23, 2023 surrounded by love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and strength.

Rose was survived by one brother Tyrone Grant. Rose was the proud mother of nine children, James Kennedy II, Althea Thompson, Andrew Kennedy, Jacqueline Kennedy, Kerry Kennedy, Grady Kennedy, Sean Dandy, Jessica Kennedy and Shara Kennedy, who she nurtured with boundless love and unwavering support. Her home was a haven where family gathered, creating cherished memories that will forever endure.

As a grandmother to 25 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 3, Rose radiated joy and kindness. Her wisdom and gentle spirit influenced the lives of generations, creating a ripple effect of compassion and understanding.

Beyond her role as a matriarch, Rose was a graduate of The Community College of RI with an Associate degree in Nursing. She went on to work in area hospitals until she formed her own business Friends and Company. She ended her career as a private nurse. Rose was known for her generosity, resilience, and the countless acts of kindness that touched the lives of those around her. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared and the values she instilled in her family.

In honoring Rose's memory, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and the enduring bonds of family. She will be dearly missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
