Rosalina Garmendez Henriquez

Rosi was born in San Salvador, El Salvador on June 21, 1952. She was the second oldest of ten children, with two who preceded her in death. She fought a hard battle of colon cancer.

Rosi lived her life to the fullest and always had a great sense of humor. She had a passion for sewing, traveling, singing, dancing and spending time with her family and friends. She loved to talk with others about the Bible and her religious beliefs. Her favorite color was burgundy, and she loved to sing 140- vida sin fin. Her proudest family moment is that she loved seeing her children and grandchildren grow without the help of a man. Rosi wishes to be remembered as a hard worker and that she “le hechaba ganas a la vida.”

A visitation for Rosi will be held at Funeraria del Angel on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10am to 10pm at 5100 N Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. The public discourse will be held at 2pm.

Rosi was survived by her children Lucy, Ericka, and Roberto; her grandchildren are Daniel, Jonathan, Stephanie, Kenya, Vanessa, Richard and Brian; great grandchildren are Rebecca, Elias, and Ester.
