Roel Hinojosa Cantu

Roel Hinojosa Cantu, 81, of Houston, Texas, passed on February 10, 2023. [Roel] was born to Eustorgio Cantu Robles and Gabriela Hinojsa Garza, in Ciudad Camargo Tamaulipas Mexico. He married [Maria Rita Saenz in [1964, and they lived together in Houston, Texas. Together they raised [2] children.

He is survived by: Maria Rita Cantu his wife, [Jesus Cantu his son and daughter in law Gabriela Cantu. [Maria Cantu his (Daughter). He also leaves two grandchildren Jacob Alexander Cantu and Kyle Sebastian Cantu. He also leaves to cherish his memory sister Armenia Cantu Garcia and brother Israel Cantu. He also leaves several nephews and nieces.

Roel worked as a truck driver for Arrow Trucking for many years. [He] enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. His children and grandchildren were his world. He loved gardening and was an avid animal lover. [He] was also actively involved with the Catholic church.

He was a generous and giving man and a wonderful husband and father.

A visitation is scheduled for Sunday the 19th from 5pm to 9pm with a rosary being recited at 7pm . Funeral services will take place at 1pm , Monday the 20th with burial immediately following . All services taking place at Forest Park Lawndale .

A reception location will be announced at the service .
