Roberto is survived by his wife and childhood sweetheart, to whom he was married to for 22 years, Veronica Celia Garcia; his children Angel Richardo Torres, Myra Giselle Negrete, Julia Lorrayne Torres-Garcia, William Albert Torres-Garcia, and Cielo Estrella Garcia; his parents Marcos Garcia Orozco and Evangelina Cisneros; his siblings Guillermo Garcia, Giselle Galicia Duran, Marco Antonio Garcia, Jose Jesus Garcia, Carlos Enrique Garcia, Kimberly Cisneros Galicia, Ricardo Garcia, Adriana Garcia and David Garcia; grandchildren Angelyn Krizays Torres, Nathaniel Roberto Torres, Zachariah Zion Negrete, Kairi Aniveah Torres, Adalynn Elize Negrete, Zelda Faye Torres and Iris Marlene Torres.
Roberto was preceded in death by his father Luis Medina Galicia; grandfather Jose de Jesus Garcia and Alfredo Cisneros Espinoza, grandmother Maria de Jesus Garcia and Evangelina Cisneros de Ruiz, and aunts Ana Cisneros and Virginia Arias.
Roberto was a man of God, he always put his family above all. Roberto was a Dodgers and Lakers fan, he enjoyed the outdoors and never missed an episode of America's Most Wanted. Many would say that he was the realist and most loyal man they knew. His family will miss him dearly but he will remain in their hearts.
A visitation for Roberto will be held Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 12:00PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 5100 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77022. Reception to follow after service on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 8410 Arkansas St, Houston, Texas 77093.
To honor Roberto, friends and family are encouraged to wear blue, "Dodgers Blue".
