Robert "Wayne" Wallace, affectionately known as "Wallace" to his wife and her family, was born July 14, 1947 in Houston, Texas to the proud parents of Janie Adams Wallace and the late Douglas Wallace. He was the eldest of five children. Robert played football and baseball at Worthing High School. After graduating from Worthing in 1965, he earned both his bachelors and masters of Business of Administration at Texas Southern University. As an undergraduate, Robert became a member for Kappa Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and in graduate school, Robert met and married the love of his life and best friend, Cassandre Riley in 1970. Robert was a hardworking man and had various jobs throughout his life, including Financial Analyst, Pontiac Dealer, and College Instructor. His career took him and his family from Houston, Texas to Indianapolis, Indiana. In Indiana, Robert continued his education and earned his juris doctorate from Indiana University in 1984. Robert's most treasured memories were spent out on the water fishing with family and friends. He was an avid fisherman that could not let a year go by without putting his boat and his fishing pole in the water. Whether inland or in the ocean, freshwater or saltwater, Robert loved being near the water and filling his coolers with fish. In addition, Robert was also an accomplished Bridge player, being ranked as a Grand Master with both the American Bridge Association and the American Contract Bridge League. Robert's reputation and ranking as a player also made him a natural at directing Bridge games. In fact, he was chosen as a Tournament Director for the both the ABA and ACBL. To cherish his memory, Robert leaves his loving wife, Cassandre Wallace, two faithful daughters, Yolanda Wallace and Tiffany Wallace, his devoted mother Janie Adams Wallace, and supportive siblings Madelyn Wallace Allen (Neville), Sharon Wallace Parish (Albert), Caryon Wallace Patton and Kenneth Wallace (Shakeitha) and talented nieces and nephews.
