Robert Willis Johnson

Robert W. Johnson was born on February 19, 1959 to Willis and Audrey Johnson in Hinsdale, IL. His Family later moved to Maywood, IL, where he attended Irving Elementary School and Proviso East High School.Early on in Robert's life, his mother re-married to Ray Robinson. Mr. Ray (affectionately known by all) was very instrumental in shaping the man he became. As a young boy, Robert spent countless hours riding with Mr. Ray in eighteen wheelers from Chicago to Detroit, which later inspired Robert to become a truck driver. Robert's love for Mr. Ray was more than father and son. Mr. Ray was his best friend. He departed this earthly life on January 17, 2018. He is preceded in death by his father Willis Eugene Johnson and his sister Denise Ann Johnson.He leaves a lifetime of loving memories to his four children; Amber Nicole Johnson, Brittany Maria and Brigette Maria Johnson, Robert Willis Johnson, Jr., four grandchlldren; Jada Johnson, Troy Johnson (TJ), Kaleiah Johnson, Taya Johnson, mother, Audrey Robinson, stepfather, Ray Robinson, four siblings; Anita Pickett (Kirby), Margaret Henley, Mark Johnson (Connie), Gail Johnson, three step-sisters; Rhenee Mitchell (Colin), Cheryl Davidson, Yvonne Spence (Edrick) and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
