Robert Johnson Jr.

THE SUN DID NOT SET ON THE LIFE OF ROBERT JOHNSON, JR., on December 31, 2022, but rather it shined and danced across the blue sky. The chapter of his earthly life came to a close and his heavenly life began.

From the day of his birth on October 23, 1948, to Robert Johnson, Sr., and Jimmie Lee Johnson in Houston, Texas, Robert Jr. was destined to touch and forever alter the lives of everyone he came in contact with.

He accepted Christ at an early age as his Lord and Savior. He was a member of Pleasantville United Methodist Church. Robert was educated in the Houston Independent School District at Fidelity Elementary and graduated from Phillis Wheatley High School.

Robert worked for Filly’s Men’s Formal Wear and Hobby Airport in Transportation Services.

He met and married the love of his life, Marie Antionette Parker and to that union two children were born, Patrice Marie (May 20, 1967) and Robert Lee Johnson III (August 10, 1971).

He enjoyed looking at old movies, playing pool and being with friends and family. Robert passed away on December 31, 2022. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patrice Marie; and his parents, Robert Lee Johnson Sr., and Jimmie Lee Johnson.

Left to cherish his memories are his son, Robert Lee Johnson III; and his sisters, Sheretta Delois, Albretta Lynn and Lanetta Kay, along with relatives and friends.
