Robert Kenneth Hinton, age 77, went to be with his Lord, Tuesday, March 26, 2014. He was preceded in death by his mother, Christine Stroud Hinton and grandmother Aro Beth Stroud. Robert leaves cousins Robert J. Mhoon of La Porte, TX and Jackie H. Henderson of Houston, TX. He was an accomplished musician, having graduated from the Houston Musical Conservatory with honors. Robert attended Rice University. He was valedictorian of his class at Austin High School here in Houston in the mid-50s. A private burial will be held beside his mother and grandmother.
