Hudson loved legos, superheroes, popsicles, and animals (especially reptiles and centipedes). His favorite color was blue. He enjoyed playing "bad guys," building robots, camping in the living room, searching for treasure, riding his bike, presents, and swimming. This summer he snorkeled with sea turtles and played on the beach with his little brother, Elliott. He was a bright, curious boy with a huge love of nature-he spent many happy hours learning about astronomy (his favorite planet was Neptune) and helping in the garden. He had a beautiful imagination and never ceased to amaze his family and friends with his brilliant ideas. We will forever cherish the memory of his enthusiasm, his kindness, and his many insightful questions. He had just begun Pre-K.
Hudson is survived by his parents, Steve and Mitzi, his brother, Elliott, his grandparents Carol Borman, Terry and Marie Borman, and Lorraine Curtright, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and namesake Robert Curtright.
Hudson's sweet spirit brought joy to our lives every day. He will be terribly missed. Huddy Mania ran wild for five years on Earth, but Huddy Mania will run wild in heaven, and in our hearts, forever. "The Lord heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name."
To honor Hudson's memory, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 10th, at 11 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church. In celebration of Hudson's life and vibrant spirit, attendees are invited to wear his favorite color, blue. Your presence and support mean the world to the family during this difficult time. There will be a viewing and rosary at Brookside Funeral Home - Cypress Creek on Monday, September 9th, from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. (rosary at 7 p.m.).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a scholarship fund established in honor of Hudson through his school, the Parish School, a place where Hudson thrived. Contributions can be made online at http://bit.ly/4gbeTuI. Please choose to apply the donation "In Memory of Hudson Curtright." Your generosity will help continue the important work of this cherished institution.
