1950 – 2019
Robert Osborn Clark of Cypress, TX passed away on August 29, 2019 at the age of 69. He was born on August 19, 1950 in Paducah, Kentucky to Henry and Marjorie (Osborn) Clark. Robert graduated from Smiley High School in Houston, Texas in 1968. He was a master plumber with Plumbers’ Local 68 and an engineer with Southern Pacific Railroad. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, coaching his childrens’ baseball and softball teams, and had an awesome vegetable garden.
Robert is survived by his wife, Brenda of Cypress; son, Craig Clark of Cypress; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin & Lisa Clark of Waller; daughter, Carrie Clark of Cypress; granddaughter, Ava Tennies-Clark; granddaughter, Lana Clark; grandson, Lane Clark; granddaughter, Michelle Johnson; granddaughter and husband, Mandi and Ryan May; great-grandsons, Brady and Wyatt May; brother and sister-in-law, Leon and June Clark; brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Doris Clark; brother and sister-in-law, John and Robin Clark; and numerous other nieces, nephews and family members.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Marjorie Clark; sisters, Norma Jean Barnett and Linda Ray; brothers, Tubby and Thomas Clark; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Orval and Ida Lamkin.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, September 2, 2019 at First Baptist Church Huffman, 25503 FM 2100, Crosby, Texas 77532. Interment is to immediately follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Building Fund.
