Robert O. Castillo

Robert O. Castillo, 76, of Hockley, Texas entered into eternal rest on May 11, 2017. He was born in Houston, Texas on June 7th, 1940 to parents Santiago and Paula Castillo. He proudly served the United States Army during the Cold War. He was married to his wife, Sharon Castillo, for 24 loving years. Robert faithfully worked for Varco Shaffer and was the shipping coordinator for 18 years before retiring. Robert was a very loyal member of the Knights of Columbus. Robert is survived by his loving wife Sharon Castillo, his daughters Theresa Hadaegh and husband Farid and Janette Jones, his grandchildren Jasmine Holan and Hadassah Hadaegh, and his sister Natalie Ruiz, he leaves behind many other loving relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Castillo Family, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, and/or the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at American Heritage Funeral Home, 10710 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77038. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00am with a committal service to follow to the Houston National Cemetery.
