Robbie Dan Fleming, 86, of Spring, Texas entered into eternal rest on February 23, 2022. He was born in Mount Calm, Texas, on November 30, 1935 to Robert and Maudie Lee Fleming. Robbie will be remembered for his strong work ethic and loyalty. As one family member recently stated, “Robbie was a tough love kind of man, but he loved and was loved!” He loved his family and most importantly he loved his wife who meant the world to him. Robbie also loved working for Hillman Land & Cattle for nearly 60 years. In addition he loved the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo to which he was a lifetime committeeman. Being around animals was his sanctuary.
Robbie is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Maudie Lee Fleming, and his stepchildren, Cynthia Larson and Russell Farrar. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Fleming; sons, Robert Fleming (Callum Hiller), Jeff Lowell (Barbara), and Vic Owens (Debbie): sister, Carolyn Williams; brother, Kenny Fleming (Diane); brother-in-law, Carl Puckett (Gail); sister-in-law: Rita Crawford; and grandchildren, Cristen (Ty), Jessica (Jonathan), Eliot, Jonathan (Mel), Tori (Brian), Amy (Corey), Kelly (Matt), Hailey, Alexxis, and Jackson. Robbie has multiple nieces and nephews along with many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1st from 9:30am-10:45am. Funeral services will be held following the visitation at 11am. Both will take place at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home. Burial for Robbie Dan Fleming will be held for immediate family only at Houston National Cemetery on March 2nd. After the funeral service, all are welcome to join the family for a reception at The Rainbow Lodge located at 2011 Ella Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77008 to continue the celebration of life of Robbie Dan Fleming.
