R.M. Treadway Jr. born March 21, 1923 in Harmon LA, passed away January 4, 2014 at home in Pasadena TX. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, LaNell Treadway. They married on April 2, 1946; his mother, Myrtle Thomas Treadway (she passed when he was 19 months old). R.M. was raised by his grandparents, James W. Thomas and Beulah A. Thomas of Rocky Hill, TX.
R.M. will be greatly missed by his daughter, Mary Nell Westbrook and husband Richard; son, Gary M. Treadway; grandchildren, Larry and Wendy Westbrook, Greg Westbrook and Mel Henry, Jason and Lisa Westbrook, Joseph and Beth Treadway; great grandchildren, Morgan Westbrook, Tyler Westbrook, Dylan Westbrook, Harrison “Tex” Treadway, special nephew, who was with him all the time, Charles Hightower, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm with services to begin at 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Interment will follow in Brookside Memorial Park.
