Reymundo Palomarez

Reymundo Palomarez was born on May 6th, 1949 in Edinburg, Texas and was called home on April 24, 2023. He joins his parents Candido and Elvia Palomarez in eternal rest. He was preceded in death by his siblings Petra Flores, Candido Palomarez Jr, Oscar Palomarez, and Norma Estela Palomarez. Rey is survived by his four sons; Gabriel Palomarez and his wife Caroline, Alexander Vaesa and his wife Edith, Ceasar Vaesa and his wife Danielle and Oscar Palomarez and his wife Fallon. Rey was the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters Julieta Soliz, Elvia Flores, Yolanda Palomarez, Jorge Palomarez, Mario Palomarez and Javier Palomarez.

Rey spent his career as a correction officer at Texas Department of Criminal Justice Polunsky Unit in Livingston,Texas. During his retirement, Rey enjoyed spending time with his family and was an avid fisherman. He will be missed greatly.

A visitation for Reymundo will be held Monday, May 1, 2023 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003. A rosary service will occur Monday, May 1, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM, 2516 Navigation Blvd., Houston, TX 77003.
