Raymond Eugene Greer II, 75, born in Houston, Texas, to Raymond Eugene "Gene" Greer I and Ethel Engelking Greer, passed December 28, 2014 in Houston. Raymond grew up in Houston and was a graduate of Reagan High School. He made his living working for Houston Lighting and Power and retired in 1996 after 34 years of dedicated service as a journeyman lineman, foreman, and contract administrator in T&D Dept. On June 3, 1960, Raymond married Susanne "Susie" Parker Greer and they were together until she passed away on March21, 2003. He then remarried to Iline Stewart Greer on December 23, 2010 in Houston, Texas. Raymond was a member of Oak Forest FA Masonic Lodge, Sons of the Republic of Texas, Sons of the American Revolution, as well as a member of IBEW Local #66 where he served as president. He is preceded in death by his parents, and loving wife, Susanne Parker Greer. Left to cherish his precious memories: loving wife, Iline Greer; sons: Raymond Nathaniel Greer, and Scott P. Greer and wife, Glenna; sister: Mary Gibson, and Sister-in-law, Nancy and husband, Larry Milberger; along with 3 granddaughters: Meghan, Katelyn & Erin Greer, 2 grandsons: Brannon & Austin Greer, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed.
