Raul Valdez

He was born in Raymondville, Texas on January 7, 1936.

He was married to Petra Valdez on November 3, 1962. .

Raul worked in the gas industry as a Field Supervisor for Houston Natural Gas (aka Enron/Entex). After retirement he worked part time for Houston ISD as a Crossing Guard Supervisor.

He was a member of The American Legion post 472 and had a passion for Baseball primarily The Houston Astros

He was survived by Lucy and Paul Moreno, daughter and son-in-law, Israel Moreno, grandson, Vincent Moreno, grandson, Teresa Rodriguez-Smith, granddaughter, and Victor Moreno, grandson.

Thomas & Mary Arangua, brother & sistern-in-law, Olga & Frank Lopez, sister & Brother in law, Yolanda Alvarez, sister, Eduardo Arangua & Thomas A Schaeffer, brother and significant other, & Janie Arangua & Ruben Sanchez, sister & brother in law.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00 pm, January 15, 2020, at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home.
