She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, whom her grandchildren called Big Mama. She married Charles Edwin (Ed) Brumley on April 17, 1948. They had 2 sons and one daughter. Her unwavering faith was a cornerstone of her life and she found strength in her relationship with God, which she shared with family through her actions and words. She had a great love for her family, gospel and old country music, as well as her beloved fur babies who brought her joy and companionship.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husbands Charles Edwin Brumley and Wilbert David Baker, sisters Leola Rushing, Reba Goerlich and Jennie Vee Brumley.
She is survived by her son Michael Brumley and wife Mary of Branson, Missouri, her daughter Linda Turpin and husband Allan of Lewisville, Texas and son Chris Brumley and wife Marsha of Huntsville Texas; seven grandchildren Monica Fuller (Derek), Meredith Boren (Stuart), Brandon Moffitt (Amy), Lisa Pamplin (Barry), Christin Cook, Ashley Knowles, and Bradley Brumley (Jess); twelve great-grandchildren, Bryce Fuller, Brock Fuller, Emma Boren, Jaxson Boren, Maddox Moffitt, Morghyn Moffitt, Collin Pamplin, Krista Pamplin, Ty Cook, Taylor Cook, Kaylee Knowles and Gracey Brumley; two double-first nieces Robin Fowler (Lynn) and Pam Eppes (Turk) as well as numerous other nieces and nephews.
Becky will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A viewing will be held at Brookside Funeral Home on Monday December 23, 2024 at 12:00 pm, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 pm, burial following. Located at 13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, Texas 77039. Brookside Memorial Park.
