Priscilla Ann Norman

Priscilla Ann Norman was born March 8th, 1958 in Beaumont, TX to the late Rosemary and Harold Dumas. She was raised in Beaumont along with seven sister and 2 brothers. Later they moved to Crosby, TX in 1963. Out of the 10 siblings 2 preceded her in death, Sandra Kaye Dumas and Harriet Kaye Dumas. In addition, preceding her in death was her great niece Shalanderia Trenise Arceneaux.

Priscilla attended and graduated from Crosby High School in Crosby, TX. Later she attended Vogue Beauty College in Houston, TX, which she graduated in 1982. During this time she met and married Phillip Norman in 1975, which they have been married for 39 years. From this union were two boys. She and her husband did a wide range of traveling making different places their home, before settling down in Spring, TX in 1999. She worked for Spring ISD as a Rout Manager for 15 years.

Priscilla has been battling liver cancer for 6 years. The cancer went into remission for about a year, when she was able to get a liver transplant to replace the liver that was attacked by the cancer. In the early part of 2015 her cancer came back and when it came back it came back aggressively, but she was a fighter. She stayed positive and was definitely strong willed. She did everything she could to attack this illness with the help of family and friends that stood by her side until she went home with the Lord.

Priscilla Norman left to be with the Lord on May 23rd, 2015 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, TX. She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband Phillip Norman, and her 2 children Phillip Norman (Maryanne) of Humble, TX, and Preston Norman of Spring, TX. Her seven siblings Rosalind Dumas Brady of Dayton, TX, Rhonda Dumas Johnson of Baytown, TX, Theresa Dumas and husband Harold Barker of Texas City, TX, Harold Dumas Jr and wife Charmaine of Highland, TX, Darryl Dumas and wife Marilyn of Huffman, TX, Rosemarie Dumas Tennison and husband DeWayne of Humble, TX, and Mamie Dumas Carroll and husband Kevin of Houston, TX. She has two grandchildren Jada McDowall and Charlay Norman and a host of nieces and nephews
