Weldon and Brothers-In-law, Irvin Lagard (deceased) Carl Dorsey, Michael Weldon (deceased), Sister-In-Law, Carol Lastrape.
Tina Alexander and Great Brothers-in-law, Michael Williams, Robert Jackson, Darriel Daniels, and a host of Great and Great Great Nephews and Nieces.
Preceded in death, her Mother and Father, also Spouse Ceagus McCoy, Sister Dorothy Lastrape and Nephew Dwayne Lastrape, Nieces Tanya Lastrape and Tammy Lynn Lastrape.
Phyllis moved to Houston Texas in the 3rd Ward in the middle 60’s. She was always life of the party and love to dance even if it was done by herself or niece Tammy. She liked hanging out at different Cafes. She also gained many friends via her jobs at The F&F Cafe, and Johnson Book Bindery.
She was a very generous person and enjoyed dressing up in the best. She and spouse took in a God daughter Davita Dove who always addressed her God Mother and raised her up as their own. She loved her God daughter and her grandchildren.
She will be sadly missed by family and a host of friends.
